About this course

Stage hypnosis, often called comedy hypnosis, is hypnosis performed for entertainment in front of a live audience. This course teaches you to perform it safely, confidently and professionally, and it is built around footage of real shows rather than theory. Most stage hypnosis training is written by people who teach stage hypnosis. This one is recorded by someone who performs it, on cruise ships, on college campuses, at corporate events and on fairground stages where the crowd did not come to see a hypnotist and you have to earn them. That difference shows up everywhere. You will not just learn an induction, you will watch it work on a real volunteer in front of a paying audience. You will not just hear that volunteer selection matters, you will watch eight complete shows end to end and see exactly who gets sent back to their seat and why. The path runs from brand new to running stage-ready routines. It starts with what hypnosis actually is and where it came from, then the mechanics: the pretalk, suggestion testing, convincers, inductions that hold up in a loud room, deepening, and the comedy routines and pacing that make a show worth paying for. From there it turns to the part most performers get wrong, which is the business. Naming yourself, getting the booking, sending the quote, closing the corporate client, working fundraisers and building a speaking business on the back of the show. There is also a full library of extras: street hypnosis, mentalism and magic from several guest performers, clinical hypnotherapy as a second income stream, and a complete recorded class from a live 2023 run. Common questions

Do I need any hypnosis experience to start?
No. The course starts from nothing and assumes you have never hypnotised anyone. It covers what hypnosis is and where it came from before it asks you to do anything.
How long does it take to get through?
There are 139 lessons and roughly 43 hours of video. It is on demand, so most people work through a module at a time rather than trying to watch it end to end. You keep lifetime access, so there is no rush and no expiry.
Is stage hypnosis safe?
Performed properly, yes, and a large part of this course is about doing it properly. Volunteer selection, suggestibility testing, the pretalk and knowing when to send somebody back to their seat are all covered before you ever get near a stage.
