Every ClientBranch plan that can host video comes with storage included. This page says exactly how much, how we measure it, and what happens if you need more. There is no small print anywhere else.
| Plan | Video storage included |
|---|---|
| Core | 250 GB |
| Studio | 1 TB |
| Growth | 1 TB |
Your allowance is shared across everything that holds video: courses, memberships, video on demand, libraries and any bonus material. One pool, one number, so you never have to work out which module is using what.
We count what your videos actually occupy on our hosting, which is the streaming versions we create so your video plays smoothly on a phone, a laptop or a TV. That is normally larger than the file you uploaded, because a single upload becomes several quality versions.
You can see your current usage any time in your dashboard. We would rather you saw the number climbing than found out from an invoice.
Three things that will not happen: we will not delete your videos, we will not take your pages down, and we will not stop your customers buying or watching anything you have already published. Your back catalogue is your livelihood and we are not going to hold it hostage over a storage tier.
What does happen: new uploads pause until you add storage. The upload that takes you over the line always finishes, so you never lose a transfer part way through. Extra storage is $15 per TB per month, added or removed whenever you like.
If you would rather free up room than pay for more, delete anything you no longer sell and the space comes straight back.
Because unlimited is not a real thing, and everyone who has promised it has taken it back. Storage costs us money every month for as long as a file exists, whether anyone watches it or not. A published allowance with honest overage pricing is fairer than a vague promise we would eventually have to break, and it means the sellers with modest catalogues are not quietly subsidising the ones with enormous ones.
For context, most sellers use a fraction of their allowance. A full-length evening show runs to a few gigabytes, so 1 TB holds a serious back catalogue.
GoHighLevel’s largest plan, the one they call Truly Unlimited, includes 400 GB. Ours is two and a half times that, on a plan that also runs your CRM, calendar, checkout and email.
Dedicated video hosts will sell you more raw storage for less, because storage is the whole product. The difference is what happens at the ceiling: they generally stop your uploads until you move up an entire tier, which can mean a jump from $25 to $65 a month. We would rather sell you the next terabyte for $15 than push you onto a bigger plan you did not ask for.
Storage is for the video you sell or teach with. It is not general file backup, not a place to park media for another platform, and not to be resold as storage to anyone else. We have never had to enforce this and we do not expect to; it is here so the answer is written down if we ever do.
If you are planning a large migration and want to know where you will land before you start, tell us roughly how many videos and how long they run and we will work it out with you first. Email support@clientbranch.com.
